With a step-by-step integration, we typically expect eight to twelve weeks until the first production lines are connected. The key is that your teams can continue working during the transition – that's why we plan parallel test phases and on-the-job training.
In principle, both older systems with PLC control and modern systems with OPC-UA interfaces can be connected. For older machines, we use retrofittable edge gateways that process the data locally and transmit it securely to the central platform. A complete modernization of the hardware is not necessary in most cases.
We rely on a hybrid architecture: critical control data remains in your data center, while aggregated key figures are transferred to the cloud for analysis. The transmission is exclusively encrypted, and access is controlled via role-based permissions. On request, we can also operate the entire platform fully on-premises.
